The first on-island wedding for seven years took place on Friday, February 7th when Heather Oliphant, eldest daughter of Alastair Oliphant, who owns the Coll Hotel, and of Shirley Oliphant, married Mr Rory Poolman of Eastbourne. Everyone on the island was invited to join the wedding ceilidh, presents were piled high in the hotel and a jolly time was had by all.
