As reported in last year's Coll Magazine it had been hoped to plant some trees in Arinagour village, but the site chosen was not considered suitable, so plans are now going ahead to make a Children's Playground in the small field between the Smithy and the Church of Scotland Manse. The ground will be levelled and the existing swings are to be removed from their present boggy site near the petrol pump to the new site, and a climbing frame, see-saw and other equipment will be installed, so that the Playground will be ready for use this Summer by all local children and holiday-makers.
