COMMITTEE CHANGES FOR SESSION 1988/ 89.

President - Angus Kennedy. Secretary - Sylvia MacFadyen. Hon. President - Neil MacFadyen. New Committee Members - Margaret Allan, Allan MacFadyen, Neil MacFadyen At Roddy MacKinnon.

Neil MacFadyen (Recorded elsewhere in this issue, if you look hard. Ed). retired after 6 years as our president. He has been a Committee Member for 31 years and in that time has only missed two meetings. A truly remarkable commitment to our Association. He was a very worthy President - a true Collach and thank you, Neil, for all your hard work. Mind you, he wasn't let go lightly, he was just coopted as Hon. President and Committee Member.

Angus Kennedy retired after 6 years as our Secretary and he wasn't released easily either - he was unanimously voted President. A worthy successor to Neil. Angus's committment to Coll and the Association is renowned. As a Secretary he worked beyond the 'call' of duty and indeed is a very hard act to follow - thank you, Angus.

The Coll Association Committee organise an attractive all year round Syllabus, on and off the island, with something for everyone - young and old alike - BUT it needs ongoing support to make it all worthwhile. Why not go along and join in the fun, especially if you are in the Glasgow area. Bring your friends and let them sample Coll's famous hospitality in the grand ambience of the Partick Burgh Halls. Contact Sylvia MacFadyen, 'Mo Dhachaidh', 16 River View Cres., Cardross G82 5LT, Strathclyde, (Tel 0389 8416645) for full information. Better still, why not join the Coll Association for all updates on activities on, or off, the island. For only £3 you can have a LIFE membership.

The Association is always delighted to have news from overseas members and should any one to be home in Scotland please do not hesitate to get in touch. There is always a welcome for exiled clansman.
