Psalm 151

Psalm 151.

Written by King David on a visit to Coll.

The earth belongs unto the Lord
And all that it contains
Except the steamers of the Isles
For they are all MacBraynes.

I've stayed in Palaces. in temple courts.
I've stayed at Toraston
But for comfort you can hardly beat
The Nurse's caravan.

Our gold, our maney is as dust
Our wealth the miser's rate.
But in Coll your money won't go far
Remember, "It's the freight."

The earth brings forth her yearly corn
But remember, always pray
That you never hear the voice of doom
Crying "What about 30 minutes at the hay!"

Our earthly span is as a day
Our light grows dim at last
But that's a flame you can't relight
With a can of Calor Gas.

When the whale at last coughed Jonah up
Coll's angel said "Don't fear,"
The ferry boat is now defunct
At last we've got a pier!

On high the heavenly temple stands
But its walls are pretty poor,
So buy a lot at this sale of work
For the Church in Arinagour.
