Coll Illustrated Almanac

A leaf through an old edition of the Coll Almanac can be an eye-opening experience. The cover page taken from the 1888 edition is a case in point. In the late nineteenth century, the people of Coll and Argyll clearly showed a great interest in the rest of Europe. However, it would have been a rare seer who could have predicted the role that Brussels would play today, especially in the agricultural well-being of Coll.
