The Weird and Wonderful Rime

THE WEARD AND WONDERFUL RIME

Books and cooks
have horrible looks
cages and pages
have terrible rages
a man and a pan
have a terrific tan
Foxes and axes
should be in boxes
bats and rats
are scared of cats
lungs and tongues
don’t have any thumbs
Bees and trees
are not like peas
a snail and a nail
one has a tail
ties and flies
drop into pies
hop and hop I
 have got to stop
