The Coll Pantomime

ALADDIN was written by Lavinia Bristol and directed by Jo Davies.

Again the Coll Players had a wonderful time
Starring in Aladdin the pantomime.
Allan Brodie, the boy wonder with fresh faced appeal,
Played Aladdin with humour and zeal.
Pete Smalley, the man who likes dressing up,
Donned bustle and boobs and looked a right duck.
And dancers we had who showed glamour and passion
And wobbled around in an extraordinary fashion.
The girls went by name of Moira and Lee,
The lads names won't rhyme - we'll just say there were three!
The robbers arrived with a hiss and a boo -
'Twas J.P. and Allie with Self in tow too.
Ron Davies appeared as the Genii no less;
He pulled out his sparkle and fell on his chest.
Lavinia Bristol played the king
And came on the stage with a hop and a spring.
Caroline Thom, a glamourous princess,
Made her debut in a beautiful dress.
This ends the review of pantomime time;
It'll have to stop now as we've run out of rhyme!

The `lads' whose names were not mentioned above were: John English, Stef Biel, Ian Cochrane & Neil Morrison. There were also many others who helped with the costumes, scenery and general organisation, etc. to whom many thanks must go.
