GOLFING COMPETITIONS
There were five keenly fought golf competitions this summer with the added challenge of almost constant wind and rain, which meant that in some cases only the truly dedicated turned out to compete.

In the Ladies Match there were three participants. Rosemary Griffiths came first, Sadie Moore second and Margaret Moore, third.
In the Coll Open Championship the rain had stopped but the players were still battling against strong winds. The results were: Gents Open 1. David Moore Junior (The Thorburn Cup) 2.
