The World Outside my Window

THE WORLD OUTSIDE MY WINDOW

The world outside my window
Is different every day;
It changes in a moment
The same it will not stay.

Sometimes calm and silent
And then it's wild and fierce.
The raging seas crash against the rocks
You'll not believe your ears.

The lochs are like a mirror;
If you look you can see your face
Then later on the wind gets up,
It can't be the same place.

The sky is bare apart from jets
Which leave a clear white trail,
The clouds appear, it starts to rain,
Gets cold, then turns to hail.

The sun it sets and the moon comes up
The stars are shining bright.
The world outside my window
Has suddenly changed tonight.
